I get extremely annoyed when I’m being asked questions with:
1) ..things I’ve already explained in great detail —it makes me think they were never listening;
2) ..obvious/common sense answers —especially if the person asking them is smart (you’d know if I thought you were dumb if I had more patience with you). It makes me think they don’t care about my time to waste it with by asking things they already know.
I acknowledge these questions with blank stares and lengthy, sarcastic, right-in-your-face responses instead of just saying yes or no. I’m mean that way.
Whattaboutyou? How you doin’ today?

These celery sticks are so bitter.
Sorry for the out-of-bed, makeupless face. Dex and I went grocery shopping the other day for my no (or low)-carb diet and we were so pleased with the very green and clean-looking celery stalks we bought. Or so I thought.
I found out the hard way that when you’re planning to eat your celery raw, you should pick the ones with the pale, whitish stalks, instead of the green ones that I got. Also take note of the smell. The stronger the odor of your celery, the more bitter it is. Oh, and don’t forget to peel the outer portion and remove the stringy things.
Otherwise, bitterness.

P.S.
Tip: You don’t need to throw your celery out if they’re too bitter to be eaten raw. You can chop them up and use them when cooking soup and certain dishes.

Yeah mean post, but I was reading Chuvaness last night where she had before and after pics of princes William and Harry. Now I dunno ’bout chu, but they were the ultimate crushes of almost every girl back in my high school, especially Prince William.

I must’ve really been out of the loop to not know about how much they changed. Not that they’re ugly but Prince William is just a year older than I am —how come he looks so old now???

Truthfully? Though they say it depends on the location’s signal, I’ve gotten a lot of negative feedback regarding Globe’s wireless internet. I finally got to try both for a few days and I must say that Globe Tattoo does remind me of when I was using dial-up —ISP Bonanza connection on weekends (yes it was that slow).
Smart Bro was much, much better in terms of speed. But. It’s still not at par with the super fast connection I got used to (cable internet). My two cents

I’m finally getting accustomed to bringing a green bag with me whenever I go out. And who wouldn’t, when they’re as cute as this?
Thing is, when I ask SM baggers to stuff my buys inside my green bag, they get caught off guard and it takes them a long time to recover from the unusualness of the situation. Awkward. And they’re supposed to be the ones advocating the use of green bags (they even give advantage points for it). This makes me so jealous of Hong Kong, where majority of the stores give their customers recyclable bags for their purchase. Or they encourage you to tote around your own by charging a certain amount if you ask them for a plastic bag. Genius. Wonder what our incoming president’s gonna do to jumpstart our eco-awareness?

Manila weather hasn’t really made up its mind yet so I’ll probably wait a bit longer before I take my celebratory puddle-stomping boots and bed-weather layerings out of the closet. Right now, though the sun isn’t as cruel as it was about a month ago, it’s still a bit too warm for my liking and I’m thinking I want me one of these:

Hershey’s Dark Chocolate Soft Serve
Yum. UNFORTUNATELY. The other day I was forced to step onto a weighing scale and I got to computing my BMI (Body Mass Index), and I am now officially (or almost) OBESE. Sad Face. I’ve gained at least 40 pounds since the last time I weighed myself, this must be my fattest self ever. It’s so depressing I almost wish I wasn’t afraid to stick my tongue up my throat (but of course I’m not going to). I have to go on South Beach!!!
(Will post more details on the Ice cream and my SB diet plans later). Motivate me please?

Brightly colored ice cubes add a cool splash of color — and taste — to glasses of seltzer, iced tea, and lemonade. Drop combinations of fresh berries, mint leaves, ginger bits, and strips of citrus zest into empty ice cube trays. Add water to trays, and freeze.

My friend Johannah gave me this Skin Food blusher as a gift for my birthday. Now, my blush preference is usually ‘less shimmer, more flush,’ but for those days when I’m going for a dewy, barely-there makeup look, this product kills it.
My favorite thing about this Korean cosmetic brand is that their products are always of food ingredients that are good for your skin, hence the name. Plus, all their stuff really, really, smell good. And their packaging —check out the cute powder puff.
Okay, so maybe that’s three things. :/
